Installer/Trainer

Role Description

  • This role is responsible for managing and expediting the application installation for assigned projects; meeting assigned delivery dates
  • Implementation focuses on implementing and supporting best practices for printing and scanning chart packs and forms by properly configuring the system, related components, and users
  • Works with IT Lead to problem solve hardware, network, permissions, or schedule feed issues to facilitate efficient installation as needed
  • The primary objective of this role is to ensure the proper configuration and operation of the applications that are being installed in client facilities
  • This role also has the objective of ensuring that facility personnel are properly trained in all aspects of using the primary functions of the software (printing chart packs and forms, and associating scanned documents with the appropriate chart packs)
  • In this role client satisfaction, competence, and adoption are key metrics to measure the success of engagements
  • This role reports to the IT Lead
  • 75-80% travel

Authority

  • Has authority work with facility teams and facilitate decision making on form names and chart pack rules
  • Has authority to recommend hardware as needed to properly install and utilize the application
  • Has authority to book approved travel

Responsibility

  • Primary responsibilities for this role are to ensure the application and on site hardware are set up on time and tested to ensure printing and scanning are working as expected
  • Uses visual documents that convey the set up process and desired end state for client engagements
  • Assisting the team with developing process efficiency
  • Notifies project management and IT Lead in a timely manner of any issues that could prevent on time delivery
  • Assists with troubleshooting various technology issues with internal and external stakeholders
  • Opening and tracking tickets as needed in internal systems to complete work by other teams

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years in software support, installation/administration, or training role or related activates and/or Engineering or computer science bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of Scan Chart system
  • Demonstrated strong communication abilities. Demonstrated ability to work with client facility teams in a fast pace collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of and experience using IT ticketing systems

Desired:

  • 1-3 years with responsibility for delivering software installation projects
  • Basic knowledge of networking, database, enterprise application installation.
  • Medical industry software/IT experience

Requirements

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft office suite of products

Admin

Role Description

  • This role is responsible for expediting the application installation for assigned projects; meeting assigned delivery dates
  • Works with IT Lead as needed to problem solve configuration issues with the ScanChart application
  • The primary objective of this role is to ensure the proper configuration and operation of the applications that are being installed in client facilities
  • This role reports to the IT Lead

Authority

  • Works with the IT Lead to determine authority on a project by project basis

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibilities for this role are to ensure the application set up on time
  • Assisting the team with developing process efficiency
  • Notifies project management and IT Lead in a timely manner of any issues that could prevent on time delivery
  • Opening and tracking tickets as needed in internal systems to complete work by other teams

Qualifications

  • Some prior experience in an administrative or software support role

Desired

  • 6 mo. or more in a support or administrative role with client facing responsibilities
  • 4-year Computer Science or Business related degree
  • Medical industry software/IT experience

Requirements

  • Moderate proficiency with the Microsoft office suite of products
